About The Conference

Welcome to ICVGIP 2026

The Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing (ICVGIP) is the flagship annual conference of the Indian Unit for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, and one of India's most prestigious venues for disseminating research in Computer Vision, Graphics, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, and AI. ICVGIP brings together researchers, practitioners, and students from India and abroad to share cutting-edge developments, exchange ideas, and promote collaborations. The 2026 edition will be jointly hosted by ISI, Kolkata and TCG CREST, featuring technical sessions, invited talks, tutorials, and specialized workshops.

With this goal, it is planned to organize the ICVGIP26 at Kolkata during December 21-24, 2026.

Call For Papers

The Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing (ICVGIP) stands as India's foremost conference in the areas of Computer Vision, Graphics, Image Processing, and allied fields. Established in 1998, it was held biennially until 2021, serving as a premier international platform for presenting technological innovations and research breakthroughs. The 17th edition, ICVGIP 2026, will be organized by Indian Statistical Institute with TCG CREST, in collaboration with the Indian Unit for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (IUPRAI), an affiliate of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). Recognizing the rapid growth of the community, ICVGIP has been held annually since 2022. The conference is committed to nurturing and strengthening the community of researchers and practitioners in computer vision, graphics, and image processing both within India and globally. We endeavor to uphold this commitment at every edition of the conference.
